Creative Calm – Northside Bathroom Remodel
Project Details
Our client, a talented artist with a home filled with vibrant color, eclectic artwork, and creative energy, came to us with a different intention for her bathroom: she wanted a true zen retreat. A quiet, grounding space that contrasted beautifully with the rest of her expressive home. With a clear design vision and thoughtful inspiration from the start, our goal was to turn her creative dream into a serene, restorative escape.
The foundation of the design is the elongated green tile, installed floor-to-ceiling in key areas to create a calming sense of height and rhythm. Its soft vertical lines and natural variation bring a spa-like tranquility to the room. Matte black fixtures add a modern edge and striking contrast, grounding the palette without overpowering the subtle textures.
A soaking tub was essential to her daily ritual, and we carved out the perfect place for it, flooded with natural light from the adjacent window. To honor her love of plants and organic elements, we incorporated ceiling-mounted hangers that allow greenery to cascade into the space, enhancing the peaceful, nature-inspired atmosphere.
Warm wood accents and curated shelving bring softness and artistry to the room, echoing her creative spirit while keeping the overall feel calm and minimal.
The finished bathroom is exactly what she hoped for: a serene, light-filled sanctuary, balanced, intentional, and deeply connected to her personal sense of beauty and well-being.
