Blue Hues & Clever Built-Ins - Second Floor Half Bath

When this family reached out, they had several bathrooms in need of thoughtful updates. Their goal was to maintain the charm of their home while bringing fresh functionality to each space. For the second-floor half bath, they were excited to embrace color and creativity, and trusted us to make the most of a small but meaningful room.
We embraced the family’s love for blue and leaned into the opportunity to give this smaller space a bold personality. Rich wainscoting, patterned tile, and playful color make the room feel both inviting and refined.
One charming challenge became one of the most memorable features: an existing laundry chute inspired a custom built-in. Designed to resemble a piece of furniture, the inset cabinetry adds valuable linen storage along with apothecary-style drawers that bring character and practicality together.
It’s a compact space with a big presence, full of thoughtful details and a perfect expression of the family’s style.
