Handcrafted Elegance: Squirrel Hill Bathroom Remodel
Project Details
Bathroom 1: We created an inviting bathroom space with neutral tones and natural elements. The rustic ash furniture vanity combines rustic charm with industrial modern edginess that adds a unique touch to the space. We styled the vanity with chrome fixtures and matte black medicine cabinets.Marble floor tile and glazed off white subway tile added richness to the space. For a touch of color, Farrow and Ball - Pigeon was the perfect soft gray/green paint color for the bathroom.
Bathroom 2: We gave this bathroom a charming makeover and kept the vintage style alive. This guest bathroom features a neutral subway tile with a pop of pale pink 4×4 border tiles. The speckled handcrafted appeal adds a layer of richness to the wall tile. Pairing these neutral tones with a soft coriander oak vanity and brushed moderne brass warmed up the space. The hexagon carrara marble floor was a timeless choice and paired nicely with the glazed white tile.

Features + Challenges
Bathroom 1: By removing the existing tub, we achieved a walk in shower and had space for a compact double bowl furniture vanity.
Bathroom 2: The wall mount vanity faucet added a modern element to the space, while incorporating cross handles for a more transitional style. For the vintage inspired space, we welcomed the return of push button switches instead of the standard toggle light switch
