We did a full-home renovation with Michael and the Marvista team and we haven't regretted it for a second. Most of all, we believe Michael to be honest, reliable, honorable, fair and genuinely interested in helping us create a *home* for our family, not just a house. They finished on-time (which is amazing for a 9-month project on our scale) and we are very pleased and confident in the quality of their work.

Some highlights:
- All of their vetted subcontractors were pleasant, professional and did quality work.
- We felt very attended to by the project manager with daily updates and great in-person interactions.
- The upfront design/planning was worth the extra time. There was very little idle time (when no work was happening).
- The agreement is incredibly detailed for good reason. It helps make expectations very clear and keep everyone accountable. Any mistake on their end was taken care of without the slightest hesitation. We didn't have to fight them for anything.

We loved working with Marvista! They designed and created a beautiful kitchen and powder room in our home despite the challenging layout of our first floor. Every staff member -- from the owner to the designer to the carpenters -- was professional throughout and delivered exactly what they said the would. Their communication and responsiveness was excellent, they stuck to the timeline, and they were incredibly respectful regarding working in our home. We recently relocated from out of state and entrusted Marvista with the monumental task of completely renovating our new 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom home before we moved in. From the outset, their professionalism and dedication were clearly evident. Despite being miles away, we felt intimately involved in every step of the process. The Marvista team regularly shared detailed progress updates and photos, ensuring that we were well-informed and could provide input when necessary. The scale of the project was significant, and their team adeptly juggled various tasks, maintaining efficiency to keep the project on track.

While the project had its share of challenges and occasional hiccups, the team’s response was commendable. Small issues occasionally pushed timelines slightly over the expected durations, but Marvista followed through diligently, addressing every concern and making sure that everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction was apparent, as they remedied any mistakes without delay.

We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our new home. The experience, while not without its bumps, demonstrated the team's ability to handle and overcome obstacles, ensuring that everything met our expectations. Marvista completed our first floor renovation in the Spring of 2022. Two years later, we could not be happier with our new living space.  We live in a 1928 house in Point Breeze that had a first floor layout that was not at all conducive to everyday living for a family of five.  We had many contractors and designers come in over the years and we could never come up with a plan to improve the flow and functionality of the first floor. Marvista nailed it. They are skilled at making old Pittsburgh houses more livable for modern families. The talented team listened to my ideas and added their own.  Our renovation includes a new first floor powder room, a new kitchen, a new layout for the dining room and new kitchen, a new internal passageway between rooms to improve the flow, an added external door, new windows and added heat sources.  The project was not without unexpected hitches. Marvista's team worked through them with patience and great communication.  They were able to change course and adapt to meet the challenges as the project developed. Our kitchen is small and the team was still able to add everything we wanted, including an island, a double oven and a microwave drawer. The products they use and have access to (cabinets, hardware, counters, windows) are all beautiful and top quality. The price was not low, but it was generally in line with other quotes we had received and was honored, despite any unexpected hitches that occurred that required additional work. The process for payment and execution of the plan were very carefully laid out and followed.  There were no surprises. The staff, lead by Michael Jacobs, is patient, hardworking, talented, communicative, respectful and kind.  A couple weeks ago (two week after our project was finished), we had a small issue with one of our cabinets that I felt only a cabinet installer could fix. I contacted Marvista and our original (very talented) cabinet installer showed up the next day with the team's new cabinet installer. They fixed the cabinet. When they were leaving, without me mentioning it or asking, they fixed a crooked wooden pillar outside my front door. I did not even notice until later that day.  I feel that this kind of service is unmatched. Once you are part of the Marvista family, you are always part of the Marvista family. I would use Marvista for any and all renovations going forward and would (and have) recommended them to my friends and family.
